WHY KELP.png__PID:086ae464-da19-4f75-bbc0-6e1b6fcca825

Reduces Tartar and Plaque

  • Natural Enzymes: Kelp contains natural enzymes that help break down the biofilm that forms on teeth, preventing the buildup of tartar and plaque.
  • Polysaccharides: These are complex carbohydrates in kelp that can inhibit the growth of oral bacteria responsible for plaque formation.

Improves Bad Breath

  • Iodine Content: Kelp is rich in iodine, which helps regulate the thyroid gland. A well-functioning thyroid supports overall metabolism, reducing bad breath.
  • Antibacterial Properties: The antibacterial properties of kelp help reduce the bacterial load in the mouth, contributing to fresher breath.

Promotes Healthy Gums

  • Anti-inflammatory Effects: Kelp has anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe and heal inflamed gums, reducing the risk of gingivitis and other periodontal diseases.
  • Vitamins and Minerals: Kelp is packed with essential vitamins (such as vitamins A, C, and E) and minerals (such as calcium and magnesium) that support gum health and overall oral hygiene.

Reduces Tartar and Plaque

  • Balanced Microbiome: A healthy gut supports a balanced microbiome, which can help control the growth of harmful bacteria in the mouth. An overgrowth of these bacteria is a primary cause of tartar and plaque buildup.
  • Nutrient Absorption: Good gut health ensures efficient absorption of essential nutrients, such as calcium and phosphorus, which are vital for maintaining strong teeth and preventing dental issues.

Improves Bad Breath

  • Immune System Support: A healthy gut strengthens the immune system, helping to combat oral infections and inflammation that contribute to bad breath.
  • Detoxification: A well-functioning gut aids in the detoxification process, reducing the production of foul-smelling compounds that can cause bad breath.

Prevention of Inflammation

  • Anti-inflammatory Effects: Probiotics and a balanced diet support gut health, which can have anti-inflammatory effects throughout the body, including the gums. This can prevent gingivitis and other inflammatory conditions in the mouth.
  • Healing and Repair: Improved gut health can enhance the body's ability to heal and repair tissues, including those in the mouth, reducing the risk of chronic dental issues.

Enhanced Oral Hygiene

  • Reduction of Pathogenic Bacteria: A healthy gut can reduce the number of pathogenic bacteria that enter the mouth, promoting a healthier oral environment.
  • Production of Beneficial Compounds: Certain beneficial gut bacteria produce compounds that can inhibit the growth of harmful oral bacteria, thus preventing dental problems.
