- Contributes to the gut-brains axis
Probiotics are the beneficial bacteria that help to populate the gut and maintain a healthy microbiome. They can help promote digestive health, strengthen the immune system, alleviate gastrointestinal issues, and support nutrient absorption.
Our product contains micro-encapsulated bacteria, which serves as a protective barrier until it reaches the lower gastrointestinal tract where 70-80% of immune cells are located. This allows more bacteria into the lower Gi which has the greatest chance of improving immune function.

FAQs
Will my pet like the taste of Pet Drs Prebiotic & probiotic?
Pet Drs Prebiotic & Probiotic comes in an unflavored form, making it effortlessly sprinkleable over both wet and dry meals. Given its small dosage, your pet is unlikely to detect any change.
Why don't I need to store these probiotics in the fridge?
Pet Drs Prebiotic & Probiotic contains freeze-dried probiotics. This process involves freezing the probiotic bacteria at extremely low temperatures and then removing the moisture through a process called sublimation.
Freeze-drying helps preserve the viability and effectiveness of the probiotic bacteria by keeping them in a dormant state. The absence of moisture prevents bacterial growth and reduces the risk of degradation, allowing the probiotics to remain stable and active until consumed. When consumed, these freeze-dried probiotics rehydrate and become metabolically active in the gut, contributing to the maintenance of a healthy gut microbiome.
On top of this, we have micro-encapsulated our bacteria which serves as a protective barrier until it reaches the lower gastrointestinal tract.
How long until I see results?
Due to the unique nature of each dog, the timeframe for observing results varies, typically ranging from 5 days to 8 weeks. Probiotics require sufficient time to cultivate beneficial gut bacteria while also combating dominant pathogenic bacteria. For optimal outcomes, maintaining consistent usage is advised.
Can I use this for my cat?
Yes. Pet Drs Prebiotic & Probiotic is suitable for cats.
